Welcome to our wedding site!
Rockin' it since 2018.
Welcome to our fabulous site! I am beyond excited to be marrying my best friend and adventure partner. I am very proud of how far we have come together, from two wild kids having a beer on a Spanish beach on a warm summer night in 2018, to planning what will 100% be the best wedding ever. You can expect non-traditional events, dorky dance moves, tasty food, and an overall awesome time!
Love, Mati

Thanks for visiting our wedding site! I suggested the domain be called “The Steiers” to celebrate our most holy of matrimonies, but then I was informed that Mati is not taking my last name (even though hers means “The Frank” in French, and I’m fairly sure her Spanish ancestors just made it up to fit in France). Either way, ‘Steier’ is technically a German name so I can understand the decision.
Anyways, I’m very happy to say that Mathilde and I are getting married. I love her very much. I would add the bromide “and I can’t wait for our new life together”, but we’ve been cohabitating in sin for a while, so instead I’ll say that I can’t wait to continue our life together. I’d also like to clarify that I did not buy her a diamond (an artificially scarce, positional good), but instead proposed with a health-tracking ring. Oh, the romance.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
Love, Jimmy
Getting There
By Car
Driving from Bordeaux will take approximately 2.5 hours.
By Flight
We recommend flying into Bordeaux airport. You can connect there from most European hubs.
Once You're There
Welcome to the best part of France (no bias, I swear). You will find endless outdoor activities, delicious food, quaint villages, and hear more Dutch than in Amsterdam.
Where to Stay
We have prepared a list of hotels, B&Bs, camp sites, and more.

Registry
We aren’t participating in any registry (the only French ones we could find sell bulk cigarettes and Moulin Rouge-themed pet wear). If you would like to give a wedding gift, we’ll happily accept cash (you know, the fungible unit of exchange used to buy stuff on registries) as long as it is in U.S. Dollars (the rightful global reserve currency). We’ll begrudgingly accept Euros too (inferior currency), but Rubles and Canadian Dollars are out the question.
In all seriousness, don’t feel compelled to give; your presence is gift enough (but if you don’t come, we hold grudges like a vise grip).
